    Default that North wind thing

We had a front blow in this last weekend here in north Texas . Wind was blowing right firmly for sure and it seemed to be an overcast waste of time at the onset of the water visit .
Dropped a pretty blue bait in the water and KABOOM right off and thought ok , maybe blue is the do .....
NOPE one more half hearted take and one split second hook up and then nada .....
Said well at least it wasn't totally a skunk visit and maybe next time ....
got about ready to say whatever and changed baits over to a worked over pearl plastic just to make sure they really didn't want to bite ....
    AND>>>>Just like THAT I became Johnny B Ketchn !
They were actually quite willing to get a beat down and silly me thunk blue was gunna make it so .....
glad I brought 2 other colors in my pocket was me for sure , one orange and one pearl ....
never pitched the orange because the pearl was getting it done quite well ....
never found a solid for sure presentation though , some hit it falling , some rising and some to and fro ....
most of the fish were on cover and or very close to it and in the end it was really nice to hold a bunch of solid keeper fish , don't think there was an under in the mix and left when the camera counter hit 29 fisheez , nice for a quick midday short visit of about an hour ....
all released to do what they do when I ain't there ....
    KABOOM is the word btw
p.s. the bass got in my way and was ketched just for grins , seen it chase bait on the surface by my feet and though may as well hook it too .....

The wind blew so hard here I pitched my jig out and let out all my line and the jig still wouldn't fall into the water! But it was about 150' behind the boat.
