It's the latest article in CrappieNow "Don't Spook Your Crappie". I tried to edit on my PC but it can't do it so I bought a card this morning to load with all the raw footage to give the the article author for editing. I just had a conversation yesterday with a Crappie.com member who says I can catch fish shallower than he can. It's in the presentation. I shot quite a bit of video on presenting and teasing the fish up I just can't edit it for YouTube.

    Default Wacked then Again!

A bit tougher fishing today. Water dropped over 10 degrees, over 2ft in water level, and wind blew but still delivered a steel retainer to numerous Crappie today and a few Shell Crackers again. Culling a little more reduced the box load but I am getting tired of cleaning fish.

Lots of boats out but started quitting by 10am. Demoralized is my guess. Casual angling won't get the job done under those conditions. The presentations had to be perfect all day to tease them into biting.

No fish was caught more than 4ft deep, most less than 2ft deep, or in less than 8-9ft of water. Most were teased into rising up to the jig. Several Shell Crackers about a pound were caught and too many short Crappie to count. I make Mock Eel Rolls with a scaled Tempura fried Shell Cracker fillets.
YOU SMACKED EM!!!!!!!! Way to gooooeeee... NOW YOU HAVE ME CRAVING TACOS!!! It's going down this week.!! EATUM!!!

this >>>> so many folks really do not understand how tough it is to constantly ketch crappie in all sorts of conditions , met a guy on a dock the other day that told me he didn't get single bite from sun up to lunch time , the good news is he still had a pretty big smile and nice attitude about it ....
