Wow! Sometimes I get frustrated too but then I get reminded that we’re so blessed and enjoy the journey and moments we have. Your son seems wiser than his years!!!

good news for sure , young ones get side tracked easily , sounds like his path is in the right direction to me ....
not ketchn can be pretty distracting ....been there done that once or twice or 3 times ....

Thank you everyone for the kind words. Last night I asked him if he wanted to skip this weekend and do something else and he quickly replied no way! I think it helps that he knows I won’t push him to stay longer than he’s up to, normally he’s getting enough after 3-4hrs and I let him decide when we call it a day. Heck I even let him pick spots to try and when he wants to move. I truly think those things play into him enjoying himself and wanting to go more often.
