    This is unedited. This is just what these crappie here in Florida look like. They are absolutely beautiful. Check out the colors.

    We also get that motor oil blue looking hue. You did well to capture it on film.

    Slab you posted fantastic reference material for painting Crappie. I remember the colors after seeing your photos but our fish just never color up that well. I downloaded the pictures for later paintings.

    some spots have crappie that just look like bejeweled fisheez , love that younger fish in the first image ....
    we see a few outstanding specimens once in a while in these parts , sometimes the white crappie have a bejeweled appearance too
    purple ,blue and yellow and on and on .....
    nice fish boss man
