    I can maybe see what whoever is referring to when it comes to hunting but fishing is a wee bit different. We can’t breath underwater therefor most have something to attract fish to come and bite. But end of day as long as it’s legal don’t sweat the idiots.

    sure we can , lots of spear fishing folks out there , no bait required , but like stated , if you are not breaking the law and you chose to pursue fish and game in a manner that does not include taking amounts of fish and game that might cause damage to the environment who cares how ya go about it ......just saying

    ZERO on a bare jig , but it got replaced as soon as it came up bare , one might say what a lovely challenge , and to be sure we did a lot of that kind of thing back when, just for grins and giggles , from spider rigging with spiderman combos to ketchn them with Swedish fish too .....
    p.s. a gold wire bare bream hook will for sure ketch fish pretty well in the right hands , don't even ask me how I know ....
