I believe I saw one Richard Gene made out of pvc that snapped over the side of the boat for when he was fishing the dams
This may be silly ask, but i cannot think of easy way to attach protection (bumpers) to the corner of transom/boat sides of aluminum boat. Standard buoys seem to float away too much. Hoping y'all can share thoughts, products, or hacks. get tired to standing guard as boat moves around bridge pylons. Are there other products? DIY?

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Talked to a guy up at Pickwick once that had fire hose - the big stuff like off a serious real fire truck - permanently attached all the way around his gunnels. Said he fished below the dam a lot. Not super attractive, it was dirty looking, but I bet it worked

I've seen people tie a bunch of pool noodles together to make a blanket for their car during hailstorms. Maybe something similar would work to hang over the side of the boat? It would look kind of silly. If you have a jon boat the noodles or pipe insulation can be put right over the gunnel.
