Nope I do the same as you but not rubber bands, I steal my wife and daughter's hair ties; whatever those things are called.
Do you use rod socks, or tubing when storing in open rod locker? for way too many years, I've used rubber bands after breaking down 2-piece rods. shorter rods I just wrap line around rod, and hope i can get ou without tangling issues. All suggestions welcomed

Currently I don’t really put them in the locker but when I do I typically put a rod sock on it. I’ve thought about building a rod storage rack inside the locker so it isn’t messed together

If mine go in the rod locker they are in a sock. I also use lure wraps in the locker. I don't necessarily need the wrap on jigs but it will keep a hook out of my hand.
