    Default NOT big crappie

on my lunch breaks are fun , lots of bites is nice off the bank
they wanted it hopping like a popping cork and drug along steady ....
main river channel , about 6 foot deep in 10 or feet of water ....guessing on water depth in the channel ....
used the same bait color as yesterday in the lake and it was about the same production .
pretty decent entertainment at long range , far out as you can wing it is where they live .
you will miss bites that far out and or not be fast enough on the draw to hook one ...
keeps my brain working for sure ....

    Thanks for sharing the experience.
I don't care how big the fish which luck plays a big part. Most important is the strike that poduces instant excitement and anticipation.

Been a lot of baby crappie in my lake the last few weeks. 4inches or so. Haven’t seen the big ones at night nearly as much since.
