80lb thrust!! not much need for a gas motor. Bet you can pull a skier with that much thrust!
And I thought my 55# Minn Kota was powerful. (Course, I wouldn't turn the handle to the highest speed and then hook it to the battery while standing in the boat.)

How does it differ than the regular kind.
It’s built to be worn all the time and are supposed to be designed more comfortable while allowing better movement.
A big part of the floatation on the back is located high so it doesn’t interfere with your boat seats back .
I have an auto inflate but would feel better with one that doesn’t need to inflate to hold me up .
Also , if you have an auto inflate ( in my state) it must be worn to qualify as a flotation device . If you get hot you could be ticketed if you take it off while on the water .
With a kayak flotation device or any regular floatation device , you are legal as long as the floatation device is in your boat . It doesn’t have to be on your body .

It will pull the boat at a cool 3mph on high lmao. It will pull the boat on low 2 at a good pace and can run it all weekend without charging

I always made my kid wear a PFD whenever he was in the boat. He ask me once why doesn't daddy have to always wear one and I have worn one ever since. I put it on when I launch the boat and take it off once the boat is on the trailer. I just natural too me now.

I have a Garmin Force trolling motor. Garmin rates it at 80lbf at 24V, and 100lbf at 36v. I'm running it at 36V on a 1860MV, it has 20 speeds, at 20 it will pull the boat over 5mph according to the Fishfinder GPS. I don't often go above speed 15 about 3.5 mph. I sit in a seat when running the trolling motor.

IMO the trolling motor is more likely to throw me over than the 20hp motor on the boat. With the trolling motor running above 3mph you need to make small adjustments to course, the boat turns very sharply if you make took big of an adjustment, could easily throw a person over the side if they were standing.

I fear hitting a stump with the trolling motor and been tossed in the water. If you not nothing to grab onto their is a good chance that your going to take a dive off the front deck if you hit a stump.
