    Default Skunked AGAIN !

Yep , once again no CRAPPIE !
was told they have black ones and white ones in there by the sign on the second lake ....
    couldn't locate them ....
was told the smaller lake was better , but it required some heavy foot work in really rough terrain to get to it ....
I opted for the second easy access lake ....
only bass and bream on my first visit at high noon .....
    DANGET I say ......
tried the timber , the dock and the bank .....
deep clear water way out west .....
oh well maybe next time ....

Hate you didn't get any crappie but I wouldn't call it skunked. You caught fish. Exact opposite for me yesterday 100 tiny crappie with no other catches.

Well as the wife likes to remind me when I come home from a rough day on the water..

A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work!

Looking at the Headline I expected you to post that you got sprayed. I'm not even fishing, 88 degree water temps means drown shiners on the bottom in the passes. You got to wade thru the Catfish & Gar, not my thing. Better luck on your next trip Bud.

quick update : talked to a friend who hits it some when his buddy invites him , I was also just a guest on that big ole ranch .
he said it is news to him there are crappie in there , said in 10 years they never seen any or heard of anyone ketchn them ....??
interesting to say the least , might visit it again to make sure ...
sides that it was flat full of young red ear and that likely means there be a few whoppers in there as well , was told it grows really big bass .
