Default Jig Storage- Woods and Water

Recently, I visited the Woods and Water dot com website. I had dealt with them before and I really like their maraboo featherings. They dye them themselves and the quality is excellent. They had a great price on thread as well. Anyways, sniffing about I found he also sells jig storage boxes in the Tools and Accessories section. Ordered two of them. The shipping was both fast and fair.

The boxes are large with a clear high domed lid that doesn’t compress the feathers or under spin blades. They have a gasket seal and the latch works very easily. Double sided.

One of these boxes swallowed two BassPro Shop boxes, and a Gamakatsu box, with room to swallow another of either box and still have room.

A Gamakatsu box will run you about $13 on Amazion. White River boxes are $20 at BassPro. This box from Woods and Water costs $25. There are other boxes available on the internet, but you will pay about $50 for one that can do what this one can do. I bought two of them and will no doubt be left prostate on the deck of the boat fumbling, like a desperate idiot trying to choose the next color jig to tie on the line. LOL

When I first started tying jigs, a member here warned me about storing hand ties with plastic baits. He said that the two would interact and make a huge mess in no time. These I imagine would be useful to those that have hand tied jigs and want to keep them nice. Not fouled or getting odd smells in the feathers and hair. I suppose using them for plastic baits would be a mistake.

I was not compensated, nor will I be, for mentioning this product. Every so often I come across a product that I think others would benefit from, and this one looks to be just that. It might explode and blow a huge hole in the bottom of the boat and sink me down deep in the abyss, with angry alligators searching for me, but for now I am one happy camper. Thank you Woods and Water.
Maybe they will bite this one……

Nice box. Have looked at them but I usually catch the Gamakatsu at $10 a pop. If you're paying $13, you're over paying by almost 30%.

Patrick is good people to deal with.
