    Default Crappie nibbles

What kind is everyone using the I been using Berkeley gulp and power nibbles but they are so soft you just can’t hardly keep them on unless you lay them out on boat to harden up after about a 1/2 hour or so. Does anyone make them a little harder rite out of bottle or is there something better to use

    Default Crappie nibbles

I gave up on Nibbles years ago. Used to buy them in bulk. Went to a Berkley Power Wigglers and cut each one into 4 small pieces. They stay on and you can get multiple fish on them. There is another option if you want to stay with Nibbles. Get some Eye Hole jigs.

Slab and G Sauce for me. Nibbles tend to be messy

If there is something better than Berkley crappie nibbles I've yet to try it, but yes you can't use the straight out of the bottle. Quickest way is to pour them out and put a fan on them for 30minutes to an hour depending on temp and humidity. You want them to toughen up on the outside but NOT get hard as a rock. Pour them back in the bottle and good to go. PS Don't do this in the house or wife will be very mad. Has a little scent to them. Scott

I use both Crappie Magnet Slab Bites and Berkley PowerBait Nibbles. I spray some SlabSauce on them and go to town. I use a lot of SlabSauce as well and apply it purt near every cast.

Yep they definitely stink but i do like them. Another thing they do is stain your boat carpet when it's a really dark night & you don't realize you forgot to put the lid back on them & they spilled when running down the lake to your next spot & then you step in them & track them all over your boat carpet . The chartreuse ones are bright when the blacklight hits them & don't fade very easy.
