Some good catches and beautiful jigs. KABOOM.
Hit your favorite lake yesterday my friend , have not been there since you left years ago , the crappie are still there in ridiculous high numbers like always .
Sure missed ya , used some of what ya showed me out there a bit and tried some spots we never knew were there as well .
One big brush pile looked like it was probably a corp. pile we were unaware of back when and to be sure it had herds of fish on it , like every crappie person wishes to see on the graph .
ketched fish all over the lake for good measure and missed ya immensely my good friend ....
nothing much seems to have changed out there , loads of 9.75 fish to the point of ridiculous at every stop and a monster herd of bluegills in abundance at your pile off the old abandoned boat ramp .
a few bass made it exciting once in a while and to be sure one will get tired of ketchn fish out there way before they quit biting ....
left with a few fish for the giving away program and lost a few jigs in them piles as well .
they were thick in the timber , thick under the bridge and thick on the piles as well .....
was pretty nice to get there well before the weekend crews hit it , not many boats there and we were the ONLY trailer in the big state park over by cedar hill when we got there and when we left .
around 20 fow was best and the fish were happy to cooperate with some jig dunking......AND ....
Joe Pool gets to keep it's loaded with dinks of all dinks lake reputation until further notice
never measured so many fish in my life bro .....not sure what gives over there , but larger crappie are just like they used to be and very VERY difficult to find ...
KABOOM my friend from the land of so hot you want to just give up ....
p.s. did I mention how much I miss ya sir ....

know what you mean, had a buddy who was my closest friend and best man in my first of many weddings suddenly disappear out of my life as he got a lil off kilter and he was hard core hunting fishing bud for most of my life and it's really hard not being able to do stuff with them.
