Default dipping a tandem jig set up

under a float mind ya .....
let me say this about that , the second jig was more for some added weight to the set up and not so much about if they wanted it .
the thin balsa wood float was casting pretty well to my max distances , but it really wanted to go just a few feet further out there .
Bank issues when after crappie abound , it is by far the most challenging of ways to ketch crappie ( cept in the spring )
without the use of electronics and boats and live bait and all the easy tricks , it becomes a lot more of the just you against the machine thing. It is me to go after crappie in unorthodox ways and in places others wouldn't think about trying to ketch them.
Sometimes I get the puzzle put together quickly and sometimes not , more often than not my game plan is somewhat decided before my feet hit the ground and in many cases, it requires fine tuning and or major changes to find the bite.
Things on bank visits happen that baffle me and yet other things often occur that defy imagination. One thing that is sometimes rather strange is how a crappie nibble could stay on the top jig after a far away hook set and fish capture. This is a fairly rare occurrence for sure.
such was one of my lunch break travels this week down by the river....
stay tuned ...KABOOM is nearer than you might imagine as well
p.s. not a fish one hit the top jig either ,,,,,go figure

Some nice ones. It is interesting that they only hit the bottom jig. How far apart were the two jigs?

As another dedicated bank dude I know the feeling. sometimes you need that extra weight and bobber to get it out to where the school is. But I have had success on both jigs the few times I have done this. lets you put out different colors and sometimes they surprise you on what they prefer that day.

WTG outlaw, you still are getting out and getting it done!
