I find that if you store the superglue tubes with the tip up , they are much less likely to clog.
I buy the multipaks of the small tubes.

Good advice on the storage. I store Marine GOOP thisxway. I wonder if it would work like the super glue you fellas are using? It’s a lil more gummy so it might be to messy. I think it would work well adhering bodies ti jig heads though. JM2C

I use to buy the small tubes of super glue from the dollar store but they clogged quickly. I know use the brush on type if using super glue. I wipe vasoline around the rim of the container to keep it from being glued shut.

I used to be on that page but now I’m using tiny baits. Can’t use a keeper or the plastic tears. Loctite super glue is working well for me, blue cap on the bottle. Just like Keefer posted.

A tough plastic is key, them softer plastics don’t ketch more fish and get ruined quickly, one sand bass or catfish on some plastics and it makes no difference how it was put on the jig head

And to be sure bream tear up plastics fast , they are hard on plastics for sure , bite lots of tails right off them softer versions …
The good news is my plastics don’t cost me much and take a second or 2 to replace if they get too worked over ….
Might need to send me your address and let me send you some tiny limits tackle plastics, just saying

Bream pulling the skirts down on my hollow tube jigs was reason #1 for me to employ glue .... then, they just bit the skirt "legs" off one at a time.
So then I started using solid body tube jigs & that problem went away. Shortly afterwards I switched to 1.5" "stinger shad" style bodies, and the Bream would occasionally nip the tail off. Insolent little buggers

Not sure this will work for you but here it is . I used to use purple/chartreuse Umbrella tubes most of the time . I used insert type jig heads . Some makers did better than others smoothing mold flash so I checked for that . Used to dip the lead in Slab Sauce or other scent oil to help insert into tube bait. When nothing going on at home rig 25 to 50 baits . On the water I could just tie one on and rerig them later. Ever think about pre rigging plastic baits on jig heads with the glue?
