    $2867.00 and more to come. The heater core is a JOB!!! It wasn't designed to be replaced. It's on the top of the transmission tunnel not on the firewall. There will be wordy durds!!!

    I've got the new heater core, and I also just got the evaporator today. I'm not in a hurry to replace those as the AC is working right now. And that's all you need down here in flip flop land.

    But I've done blower motors in 240 series Volvos, many of them. And that's a pain. This will be a breeze. At least that's what I'm hoping. I left half the dash apart for now anyway, just in case! doh
