Not mine,i am a installer at pergormance fishing electronics. We took this setup out on the water and tested it for the customer after we put it on.we actually did a double setup this week 2 units and 2 livescopes on the bow.The guy said he wanted 2 because he didnt like pushing buttons all the time, zooming in and out.He said he was gonna set one on 70ft out and the other 25ft out.Said he could search for fish with the one at 70ft out unit and pitch and try to catch them with the 25ft out unit,no more zooming in and out.

I can't help but to get tickled envisioning all this stuff in my mind. I picture a need for a duck lanyard for all the remotes and such to control some of this stuff guys are putting on boat's now days just to catch a fish. Like mentioned before some running 3 TMs, now two livescopes a handful of other electronics I mean when do you have time to fish? I struggle with one remote and looking at one screen. And yeah, I don't finding bending over to touch a screen a big chore to change zoom or other settings.

Not trying to belittle the thread and I get it. You won't get what the old system is worth selling 2nd hand and probably don't need the money. I think the Transducer pole next to driver's seat is best idea. You can use it as a scanning tool. Best of luck and be interesting to hear your thoughts when you get it all setup.

Put it next to driver side where you can ride to scan brush, structure, docks, open water and know if the fish are there.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

I readily admit to being lazy. But even I am not that lazy.! Thanks for your response.

Not really. Be careful what you wish for. I will be 80 in a few days and I lost my wife 5 years ago. So I no longer have any need to hold onto what little money I have so she would have it if I died first. >(

I would love to be younger, with my wife still with me. I would gladly give up all these toys for that.

    Ketch, you're showing your age!

If you remember I had to give up that Bird when I sold the old pontoon. I went all Garmin on this new unit.

And yes, it was a mistake. I should have found another buyer for the old pontoon as I wish every trip on the water I had kept that Bird for the console of the new unit. I miss it so bad I am currently in the mode of convincing myself I need to buy a new one.

I refuse to pay what Garmin wants for their larger units. They want too much for their 12' units but what they want for there larger units is outrageous.

I also wish I had kept the MK trolling motor instead of buying the Force. The Force is more powerful and quieter than the MK but the MK spotlock is superior to the Force anchorlock.

I personally consider it extreme laziness, and this is from a very lazy person.
