swore it was hotter when I visited the water.
was not much for bites and just terribly uncomfortable.
best bite of the day goes to a ......you guessed it ...MOHAWK !
man did it smack that jig ....gots to love some of that action ...
a solid white crappie did a similar version and to be sure if it was very still it did not get bit.
some yeehaw hooked one of my bamboo condos and jerked it pretty high out of the water , for sure a yak or boat pitching into it from outside the dock ...
likely one of them there braid folks that can get their 25 cent jig back no matter WHAT !
that condo was void of fish this visit , no doubt right ....
went in with white and it wasn't on the menu , changed to a smaller chart in the same bait and got a few bites.
Sure did suffer out there in this heat .....ran off pretty quickly to some ac is his native american name .....
AND until further notice KABOOM is the word
some beats none in lip poker , ( my best 7 were my ONLY 7 )
slowly rising it and or running it across the tops of condos got bites , nothing on the fall or still action production , 8 fow in the shade....

metabolic rates run high and get higher as the water warms for a fish , such are the ways of the cold blooded who ain't so cold blooded right about now ,bet the water temps are close to 100 in some spots I hit ....
closed my favorite lake to visit to boating traffic a week or so ago , all the ramps are non negotiable due to low water levels ....
