The jig was burning their lips before they could bite it.

It was 80 here yesterday but I had a breeze while on the water so it felt less. It was fairly comfortable. But you caught crappie and I didn't so you had the better day.

Any day I'm fishing is a good day, regardless of what I catch.

Sometimes ketchn fish can be pretty uncomfortable, my favorite visits to the water are when they want to play and it’s a nice day …

I freely admit to being a fair weather fisherman. It's too hot for me to fish. Aluminum boat gets too hot to touch by 11am, fishing is bad slow this summer. I occupy myself other ways.
I did load, move and stack a cord of firewood this morning. No hot gunnels there.

what a bunch of big marys! had incredible day o fishing couple years back where we loaded the boat with constant action on a july scorcher of a day and then after we had our 30 fish limit went and jumped into the water at the beach on this 30 acre lake. IF there biting don't care how hot it is, put the big hat on and sometimes sunscreen and go get em.

Saw it's going to be around 100 next week but me and the crew is going back to that same lake and get after them. Plus having our swimtrunks and floaties along as well. this is same lake we tore them up on few weeks back. that big school is there and we are determined to find them, again.
