I’m rolling up fast on 52 years and i also remember it like it was yesterday. It was indeed scary for a couple weeks. It was scarier being deployed when you had no idea where your going. I settled into MP service for the Marine Corp and yes, I would answer the call again. It’s funny how we go thru life saying things like “ I’ll never see 40 “. Then it’s fifty and after sixty it becomes very special just to put your boots on every day. I didn’t get in on F-4 s but sure learned all I could from those Apache. Good luck my friend and thank you for those years.
