You could build a blind on it too. Also you can consider a pontoon.

I plan to have a blind in whatever I go with no doubt. Heck in a monster like that you could have 3 or 4 guys a dog, decoys and even room to cook breakfast! Don't like the idea of a pontoon on the MS river. Too wide and easily blown around.Originally Posted by BuckeyeCrappie

Oquawka or Clark boats is what those are in my neck of the woods in Eastern IA on the Mississippi River. They are built to order. Do see them for sale off and on around here.

Wish my tiller had power steering and it is only 50hp but made from .125 aluminum. 1856 size too. Merc 50hp command thrust.

Anyone know the make / model of this boat?
During the several years I ran my last sorta big tiller, I learned that the little tab on the hind end made a tremendous difference where it was set. I could get the steering 2 finger neutral at any speed or trim angle by where it was positioned. But it would be off anywhere else. Ended up setting it neutral at about 25 mph and trimmed up about 1/2 way, where I ran the most. When you got in rough water and slowed down, tucked the motor under, it pulled pretty hard on me. Came to the idea that if you could adjust that on the fly, it would make power steering unnecessary. But never saw any storebought way to do that…
