Try being a volunteer FD in these times. At one point this spring half our wildland fleet was down for repairs. We are in the process of dropping a new engine in the 2000 F-350 with 155k on it because we can't afford anything newer. We actually had to press it back into service a few weeks ago with the blown head gasket as we had another truck go down. Its tough out here.
