Correct me if I’m wrong but thought the LVS34 cable was to be towards the back no matter how you install it unlike the LVS32? You’ll still need to click it up a bit for forward mode but cable to the back/same side as prop.

Also might look into some Ashmore marine clips for the cable to mount against the shaft of the trolling motor and then a trolling motor cable sock. Ensures you don’t cut your wire.

Crappiepappy, I have it in the most forward mode because I'm usually looking out beyond the boat for fish to cast at. Fish beneath me or behind me I usually just pass and look for new. I'm still learning though so I may be doing this all wrong LVS 34 Transducer zero degree mount

Thanks Drnip! Sure as heck had it screwed on backwards. You definitely saved me a lot of confusion and headache come Saturday morning!! I owe ya one

I will report out how it works after the weekend. I may swap over to a barrel mount 0 degree if this doesn't work out

Haha good stuff! Seriously look into cable management like I suggested. Many have cut their cable in the motor when deploying it due to loose, dangling cable. Be careful. The

OK ... so, is the 34 all that much different than the 32, that it has to be cocked back for forward view ??

Again, I have my 32 "level" and get forward view plus about 12-15' of view (at an angle) under the boat, when the tdx is pointing straight ahead. I just don't get to see the surface splash of my jigs, like my buddy does with his cocked back 2 clicks.

And I must admit, I DID NOT notice that the tdx was pointing backwards and I should have, because I've put mine on backwards before (I take my tdx off and bring it inside during the Winter months) I guess my attention was focused on the angle of the tdx, more so than the direction it's pointing.

I can't say if there's much difference on the transducer as I've only had the 34. I'm still experimenting so maybe I'll try it straight down this weekend . All tips are appreciated, thanks!

What I want is to get a zero degree mount for my livescope LVS 34 transducer that fits minn kota ultrex shaft?

I do not want to use the 8 degree one, the angled beam is something I do not like.

I have had the zero degree one on a pole mount but am now switching it to my trolling motor.

Thanks for any help an or pictures of what someone has now.

Didn’t read all the way through the comment so this may be settled or already discussed. I have went through several 0 degree on the TM shaft. The latest has been the summit marine mount. Not trying to bash products but it’s a great design followed up by poor build quality. Nothing I do will lock it down where it’ll stay where pointed. Biggest problem I’ve seen with all the after market mounts are build quality. Most are 3D printed and very flimsy. I’m back to the original lvs34. The 8 degree mount won’t really affect much unless you are fishing super deep. But everyone likes something for certain reasons so I hope you find what you looking for. To anyone wondering, the 0 degree mount placed on the pole worked really well. Not a bad option for only 30 bucks. I didn't have any issues with it today
