Default LVS 34 Transducer zero degree mount

Can anyone tell me or post pictures of a zero degree mount on a trolling motor (ultrex) shaft?

What I want is to get a zero degree mount for my livescope LVS 34 transducer that fits minn kota ultrex shaft?

I do not want to use the 8 degree one, the angled beam is something I do not like.

I have had the zero degree one on a pole mount but am now switching it to my trolling motor.

Thanks for any help an or pictures of what someone has now.

    Steve

The 8° shaft mount is to allow the beam to not be obstructed by the barrel of the motor ...

You may get blockage using the 0° mount on the TM shaft ...
    ——-

There is the option of mounting the LVS on the side of the motor barrel to get 0° ...

I plan to mount my 0 degree mount on my ultrex shaft tonight. Everything I've read people recommend mounting it 7" above the barrel of the trolling motor to avoid interference. I will post a photo this evening and give it a test run this weekend

Here's how mine looks. This hasn't been tested on the water yet. If any of you veterans see any glaring physical issues with my install please let me know LVS 34 Transducer zero degree mountName: 20230719_164437.jpg

If the TM can be turned in either direction, as far as it can be turned, and there's no binding or stretching of the transducer cord, then I don't see any problem. (not that I'm an expert on this stuff, or anything)
But, out of curiosity, what's the reason for having the transducer pointing upwards a click or two, as opposed to having the top of it level with the top of the trolling motor (prop housing) ??

A friend of mine does that to his 32 LS tdx, but does it so he can see his jigs splash down ... to determine if he's made a accurate cast, distance-wise. He only loses "back under the boat" distance on his screen, which is of no consequence to him.

Mount it on the barrel of the trolling motor. No obstruction.
