How do you store your rods when they are not on the boat?

On my garage ceiling. Too high so I had to do a drop down. I'm 6'2" and can walk under it no problem and just reach the top rods fairly easily. I hate to leave mine in the boat, which is outside with a cover. It get's brutally hot and I suspect could cause the line to break down somewhat. Link to rod rack from Amazon: Amazon.com

That's the way I do my long rods, Works well unless you're short like me. I have to use a ladder, a 2 stepper works well

I had mine over the boat in the past so I could climb in the boat and store or change what I needed.

I wish I had a garage or a basement. All my fishing gear is in a spare bedroom and it looks more like a tackleshop.
