It’s a duck paradise and they get hammered all season there , got decoys set up in all the ponds and we jump big gaggles of all kinds of different species during the winter when we visit there to ketch fish
Pretty good numbers of black belly tree ducks too ...ie whistling ducks ...
Some great Canadians and a plethora of other waterfowl too
One pond is called the wood duck pond , just saying

That’s awesome!! You’ll have to post some stories about your adventures. Always wanted to bag one of the whistlers..they are becoming more widespread here for sure. If you ever need someone to clean your ducks I’m here to help LOL!! Great write up Ketchn! Kaboom is the word

Them whistle puppies are really pretty and have very distinctive calls , they look almost goose like with longer legs , we sometimes see flocks under deer feeders ,
Don’t know how they taste and if they even come to decoys and calls , would likely make a great mount for the wall is my guess
