Color does not matter, Crappie just have to see the bait . Presentation is well over 95% of the equation.

I also carry multiple hats when I go fishing so I can change out when they won't bite! Usually CDC logo helps. Still looking for that elusive "lucky hat" for crappie. My wife thinks I'm crazy about the hat thing. Believe me, luck CAN reside in your hat!

Size: 35.4 KBor ball cap .....
lack of bites and size of the fish were recorded and documented and .....
some more scientific studying will be needed to ensure the for sure correct answer , but after this test run , it seems that bright Orange is not that good of a color on your ballcap , just saying .....
I really like orange on my hat. Kaboom...

On my lures I use chartreuse, white, black and red. That is my opinion and I am sticking to it.

This is my orange fishing hat by the way. LOL

I have had good results with the crappie.com orange hat, but scientifically speaking, I think the crappie.com camo hat outperforms it.

Good science indicates the oil field camo is king with the other one I am giving away soon running a close second ....
Crappie Scientists will all agree on these findings after all the testing is done
