    Default New gadget prototyping

Bored. Started a new project. The circuitry unit I am building are the wired chips that interface a timer to a relay board.

The control circuit will receive a selected pulse from the counter and alternate the on off cadence of the two Relay board. This will give me a left/right direction of a motor. With this motion of the motor, I will sweep a angled di transducer left and right at a controlled rate and time. A real sweep sonar.

Maybe it will work. Love tinkering.

Here is a Pic of my prototype.

It works. Waiting on a relay board.

Just don’t get your boat up to 88 mph with the flux capacitor on.

Yeah….12 months worth. Then my last year in the Army in 1979-80 I spent there teaching. Then off to Saudi for 21 years working for Raytheon on HAWK and PATRIOT program. Got to come back to states every year during those 21 years for a lot of updates on the systems. My last school was for 7 months on latest updates on PATRIOT system in 2000-2001. But that was it….had to retire early due to some medical issues. Am amazed everyday by something that shows me how fast it all is advancing. But Ohms law never changes…and Boolean logic is the same…LOL

Not a clue about any of this but I’m very impressed and know talent and skills when I see it. Good job.
