Best Glass Screen Protector??

I'm looking to invest in some good screen protectors for my 2 1222's. I've had a few close calls with egg sinkers coming close or barely hitting my screens. Most happen on missed hook sets as I or friends try to set the hook and miss. The weights usually go several feet into the air and come down towards my screens.
Any suggestions, glare-free, regular. brand, etc?

I have not started to construct my idea of a protector yet but will share my early idea.

Plexiglass attached to a piece of pcv. The pvc is cut out so that it can simply slip over the top of the screen. It would fit just tight enough to not fall off but loose enough to easily lift off. When lines are in the protector is off. Lines in the water it's back on.

I’m gonna admit to something dumb, my Humminbird helixes came with clear ones. The first or second trip out, I thought it was just shipping protection that I’d missed. I grabbed the tab and snatched it off. By the time I realized my error, there was no saving it. I shopped ebay and found some cheaper ones, don’t remember the brand, but they were about half price of most. I picked anti-glare, a bit of matte finish to it. It’s ok enough that I’m leaving it, but if I were to do it over I’d go clear.

Do you use anti-glare or clear? I made the mistake of buying cheap anti-glare plastic screen protectors on my 93sv and 1199s, and I ended up ripping them off on the first fishing trip with them on Saturday.

I have Russell Marine and can’t tell it’s on. Every time I see a post like this on FB Russell Marne gets the most votes.
