Sad news.. reason I have not posted much.

I received a PM from Ketchn today wanting to know why I had not been posting a lot these last few months. This is my reply to him and to all of you...

Thank you for caring my friend. Wife's brother John Henry Woods developed brain cancer in November at Thanksgiving. We have been busy getting him to brain surgery, chemo, and radiation treatments and then caring for him daily about ten hours every day. They could only get about 89 percent of the cancer through surgery, and it quickly began to grow again.


The last three months he has been on complete bed rest and could not even stand. A month ago he stopped taking liquids except for about a half a glass daily, and only could eat about a half cup of fruit in total every day. He was on about fifteen different medicines a day including morphine for the pain. He was placed on hospice three weeks ago. He died on June 10th.

After that we were so busy making funeral arrangements, meeting with the funeral home, meeting with cemetery personnel, finding a place for the repass and getting the church ready. The funeral was last Saturday. We were so tired !!!
