Just remember if they bend when hung then fish may bend the hook. Every time it is bent it will become weaker . Since I boat flip most of my fish I want a stout hook .

The red sickle hooks I have bend very easy, I have to bend them back after just about every fish I catch. The black ones I have don’t bend as easily.

A friend who has passed away used to take a lighter and heat the bend in the hook to take the temper out.

I wish they were made in a size #6 hook.

He is right. I buy from Curtis. His jigs work great. Checking my inventory now.

Wish i could help you but i have no plans to expand to #6 it took me years of trying to get them to make the 4 and 2.....i have good many head styles that use standard 6 hooks if you ever need anything just holler.

Save your money and buy a Bic lighter.

I've been heating the bend of my hooks for years, just hit them for a few seconds. Once you get snagged just take a pair of pliers and put the bend back in ( make sure you don't close the barb) and fish on. I can use the same jig/hook all day in heavy brush and catch 1-2lb fish. Try it, it doesn't cost anything.
