I’ve just about straightened and re-bent just about every hook. Some more than others. Seems lighter the hook the more I have to re-bend. Takes no more than 10 seconds to re-tie.

NIMROD LIKED above post
Bronze hooks no matter what brand will bend easier than black nickle, gold or red hooks. I use light line and rarely get my jig back when snagged so they get replaced on a regular basis.
I'll give them a bend or two but more than that I replace. Just my luck to hook a good fish and it come off due to a worn out and weak hook.
NIMROD thanked you for this post
I tried bending hooks, like in THIS VIDEO.
Although I didn’t catch many fish it worked very well for me. Didn’t catch any giants though. I plan to continue pre-bending the hooks until I find that heavy fish will get off because of weakened hooks.
Great info, thanks for sharing.
These:
Grizzly Jig Company - Lightwire Jig Head
I get them in the hundred package. All I use anymore
Timely post, I have been looking for some 1/32 size #6 litewire hook jig heads. Seems all I can find is size #4 & 2 hooks in lite wires.
Use them and Bend them all till they break or so deformed I can't get close to the original shape. All sickle hooks seem way better to me to bend and break way less.
