    Default I'm going through withdrawls

Here it is June 19th. The only thing in way off fishing so far is 1) bought license 2) bought jigs from Takeum. I'm two and a half months into my usual season start and no sign of a start yet.

Withdrawal here too. This season and last, I missed a whole lot by working on the boat. Keep thinking I’ll eventually get ahead of the curve. But it’s a 23 year old boat. Down to one bag of crappie in the freezer. Been wanting to cook it, but then how am I gonna feel about having NONE?!

I have gotten 2 trips in this year. Amongst the to do list and much overtime I have not found any time to fish
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along

It ain’t a good feeling Jeff. I’m out as well after donating my last six gallon bags to a local scout troop for a fish fry.

My season started with some nasty tow vehicle repairs. Then my wife had a stroke and both kidneys shut down. As of now she needs 24/7 supervision. That's my job. Soooo maybe the fall will be good.

That does make my problems seem insignificant. Hope she gets better!

Wow, as said makes my problems not so bad at all. Best wishes for her. As far as fishing goes, my home stream has been poor this year due to low water, tons of stream snot and higher water temps. I think to a certain degree the fish are stressed.

Yes Sir, Heart and Kidney problems are no Joke. I totally understand. Praying for her complete recovery. I sneak away about once every two months for a couple hours as Cajunlady (my better half) is getting much better after her heart surgery. Not their yet but better...Prayers my friend.

Sorry to hear about the wife's health. I was going to commiserate but my reasons that I haven't been able to get out are trivial compared to yours. My prayers go out for her.
