    Default Just lucky

Some say I am just lucky , my response to just lucky is this ....
I plan on getting lucky well in advance , getting "lucky" requires advance preparations , these condos in these boat slips were placed in there for one reason ......
to get "just lucky" ....just saying ....
KABOOM is the word btw ....

The harder you work, the luckier you tend to be.

When I'm teaching a new Crappie angler I preach over and over, "It's like setting up Dominos, every aspect of the day is planned and executed with precision, if you stacked all the steps like stacking Dominos correctly you will catch fish if they are there. No secret "One Thing" that makes us successful its everything we do in preparation to be successful. I stand behind everything you wrote Ketchn.

Nobody really want to do the work so they can be successful. To be successful you have to put in brush, condos, pvc, bamboo or what ever to make a place to be successful at, you and me knows it not luck. And putting them in the right place sometimes might be luck. Just saying.

many years ago , I hunted a spot that was covered up with fellas hunting , far too many guns on a pc. of property for darn sure , but I set my spot up as far from camp as possible and adjusted everthing just so so , right to the part where my blind had rags in the windows to blow in the wind ( to cover movement when hunting ) and under a huge pecan full of pecans to add extra noise when they fell on it and kept my feeder running right beside a creek and heavy cover the entire year before the hunt ....
along came season and guess who was lucky over and over again , when some of the others that didn't do the extra work were not so lucky and said man are you lucky , you get something every time you visit here , and I told them the same thing ....
I plan on being lucky ....
