What’s the difference in offshore lithium and regular lithium?

Never taken it on the boat but I have a 24V Kobalt job site fan. It moves some serious air and will last most of the day on a 4ah battery. The one I have is also able to sit on a 5gal bucket and has a water hose and a mist feature. Not exactly practical for a lot of things but it is really nice for cooling you down when working in the heat. We primarily use it for our kids sporting events/practices that are in the hot times of the year. We get the most use of it when they start youth football in the brutal Alabama August heat.

I've had great luck out my Milwuakee M18 fan. It lasts a long time on one battery before I have to swap it out. Umbrellas & biminis help tremendously as well. You pair them two together and I don't sweat at all.

I have one of the Atwood 3” inline ventilation fans. It’s designed for off shore boats ventilation system . But works great for a personal cooling fan. You just have to build a little bracket and add small gator clamps

That misting fan might be just the ticket no shortage of lake water

    Stay home I reckon.. lol.

I have two small Milwaukee fans with 9ah batteries. Do very well I use them for work mostly. I have only taken one out one time on a boat and then we got a breeze so go figure.

I'm like most if I fish this time of year I want to be on the water at daylight and loaded by 11am. Noon is the dark hour for the lake lice on weekends.

The battery powered fans work well though.

Offshore just means they were imported. Price is the difference. My DeWalt batteries stay in the shop.

For the prices they want for them now I don't blame you for leaving them in the shop

I use a Bimini Top too, the air under the top is cooler and getting out of the sun too. My Ross Barnett boat has a custom Bimini I made that the leading edge hit me right in the back of the neck sitting up front. My flop Hat Brim hangs over the top frame, works great.
