Default Way under 20 bucks ....

AND still ketches crappie pretty darn well , the line is really heavy for me ,so a split shot had to be added to get the jig to go down, but it isnt really to terribly bad for a "free" combo , I think they run well under 15 at the local wally world , not sure .
but they were giving them away at a spot my wife visited and she grabbed one .
it does not feel like a forever combo and not sure if it will last long , but so far it has managed to ketch some crappie and other fish on a several trips with the family .....
just a quick fyi for the budget minded group ...

I can afford free. Even if it only lasts a trip or three.

Great find, and remember, it's not the equipment that catches the fish- it's the angler on the other end.

Actually the angler finds the fish, presents the bait and then the fish catches itself on the hook. Myself, wife and kids have proven this many times. No bite , even Mr. Crappy can't catch. A good angler does make a large difference though. Ketchn is a good angler. But he is humble enough to admit he does not catch every fish. Just funnin ........

My wife bought me an Okuma rod and reel combo for $8 this spring. Was going to use it for sucker fishing but weather and a quick spawning run nixed that. Same pretty blue color.
