Question I'm wondering how many folks have changed tactics due to Livescope

Friends ... I am curious ... how many of you would say that you have moved away from spider-rigging as a primary tactic due to Livescope?

I never was involved in Spider Rigging very much, but I have just about dropped Pushing jigs in favor of Livescope flippin' jigs.

(but ... NO, I'm not in the mood to sell any of my Pushing equipment )

And even if I was a diehard Spider Rigger & had Livescope, I'd still keep doing it. My buddy t.slabseeker (guide on Green) has LS and still Spider Rigs almost exclusively.

Been dipping 10’ or longer Huckabee rods for about 8-9 years now and still do. If anything I only use one rod most the time instead of one in each hand.

I got suckered into this by a hummingbird rebate, after saying I wasn’t gonna try to learn a new trick.
But I’m thinking I’m gonna try to incorporate it into my trolling, try to stay on schools of open water fish better instead of just blindly making passes. But we’ll see where it ends up I know that when I started crappie fishing over 30 years ago, casting jigs, I would have loved to have this available!

Fish most of the same spots I did before Livescope but I don't spend the same amount of time fishing them now that I can see activity or lack of better. Also do open water fishing which I never did before.

LS definitely changed the game for me. Really all I do now is vertical jigging. Never jigged before. It can be quite effective, but not as easy as I thought it would be when I purchased. There is still a trick to it if you know what I mean. Usually I employ the LS to find em and then fish without staring at the screen. It can wear you out all the screen time. Lol. I love it though, game changer!

I spider rigged and long line trolled for years and caught tons of fish but when LS came out l eventually sold all my trolling equipment. LS change it all.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

I vertical jig on livescope but also troll. If you mainly fish brush and structure then livescope is where it’s at. If you fish a structure-less lake where fish just roam around in the middle of nowhere trolling is better imo

Have never spider-rigged. Started out using minnows but over the years have moved more to vertical jigging and/or casting jigs. LS has changed the amount of time I spend looking in an area (if they are not there, you can't catch them). I have also been exploring more open water fishing for schooling fish and then casting/pitching to them. Did not look for open water fish before LS.
Yes, as a matter of fact, I do have a retirement plan...FISHING!
