Default Decided to bass fish a few tournaments this year for a change

since it's been 2 years for me & 3 for my old partner. You talking about some screwed up luck? lol Last weekend we never could get a big bite & ended up getting knocked out of the money by eight hundreths of a lb. & this weekend had some prop trouble & couldn't get on plane so idled a long ways to the only dock around in the creek i was fishing & got real creative & got out on dock with boat backed up to it & took some good electrical tape & put over the pvs vent holes in the prop. I figured we'd end up idling the almost 20 miles back to the ramp so i put our fish back when i got back in the boat & right before trying my redneck attempt as a prop wizard. lol Tried to get on plane & just as it was breaking over the biggest majority of the tape blew off but thankfully we did get on plane. Took our dear sweet time because we knew the ramp would be busy with boats loading & got back just after deadline while plenty were still loading. Load, watch weighin & you might know it we would have got second had i decided to give it a try just a few minutes sooner like i mentioned.

Mother said there would be days like that. Hopefully next time will be better.

It was a new to me prop & i tried it out alone & she jumped on plane easily. After adding 50 bucks worth of gas & my fishing buddy at 250 she wouldn't come out of the hole. Needless to say i have some more pvs plugs on the way so i can adjust the holeshot.

Les for me if I didn’t have bad luck I wouldn’t have any luck at all.

Thanks Danny. It’s just venting way to much under a heavy load so all that’s needed is a pvs plug change to fine tune hole shot & I’ll be good to go & I have the plugs on the way.

Look at the bright side. You made some other fishermen happy and they will never know they really got beat.
