Default What's the Best Inflatable PFD?

I routinely see folks online asking, "What is the best inflatable PFD (life preserver) to buy?" There are a wide variety of Pro's and Con's. Recently the BoatUS Foundation did a comprehensive review of the most popular inflatables on the market. You can read the details here: chevron-right By the way, if you are a client on my boat, you will be REQUIRED to wear CO2 belt at all times!

The best one is the one you have on. I wear a Mustang self inflating, I put it on when I launch the boat, after a couple minutes I don't notice it's on. There have been several times while walking to get the truck to take my boat out I realize I still have it on. I don't swim well.

I’ve worn an older Bass Pro inflatable for years while fishing but switch in/out of a regular life jacket while driving around at speed.

I use bass pro in warm weather. In winter time I switch to a flotation jacket.

So, for an embarrassing reason, the link in my original post is broken. Here's a good one: Inflating Your Safety IQ | BoatUS
