Thunder storms ....

Thunder rumbles here and the bite shuts down, I don't bother to go the day after a big electrical storms roll thru. Interesting read my friend.

sometimes a storm will shut them off like a light switch , other times they go bananas , one spot on the first lil rain episode made them go to lock jaw mode , another spot we just got to close to them with the boat , last stop when the big ugly one rolled up quickly they were going bananas , but with several long rods in the holders we looked like a lightning magnet and my bud said this about that with his 12 footer straight up as he landed one ....nothing like being a lightning rod looking for a place to happen ....
and that one and the one I jerked at the same time were the last 2 to visit the box ....

Nice catch. Sometimes a big drop in the temp can trigger a good bite.

it goes both ways here , most of the time a severe change in whatever on the weather makes crappie change them lil crappie minds about what they are doing for sure
