Bleeding fish really does make the filets a lot whiter. Here are some walleye filets that one was bleed and the other not See the difference

if you try that in the summer warm water , you will have a herd of soft fleshed washed out fish that might not even be edible , just saying....

Ship,, if you talk to your friend tell him to keep making videos, we watch and enjoy them here. I personally don't bleed our catch but we grew up on Saltwater fish. Crappie are ultra sweet to us as is compared to Speckled Trout.
