I did get back out on Sunday. Same spot as Friday. Yes I took my tackle box this time. It was very slow. Maybe for some out of control kids running on the wood planks of the floating docks. All I can tell you is as soon as they all left with mom and dad on a rented party took, the fish started biting a bit. I managed six before calling it a day. Enough for supper anyway, which was delicious.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!Jamesdean thanked you for this post
Glad you were able to get back on them. Nice mess of crappie for the fryer.

Yes sir, plans in the making. I have some stuff to do around the homestead put for sure going back. It's a bit of a hump to get their, 52 miles one way according to moms odometer, but well worth it to me. Just need to get up there by daylight, and that is a trick for me.
Thank you everyone for the comments. May try the other set of docks next trip and see how they're bitten on that side. Gonna take my hummingbird look see (fish finder made portable) and see which docks seem to hold more fish. I'll post picks up shortly of my DIY set up for those interested.

Here you go. Light weight, self-contained, and the graph head unit is stored out of sight and protected when in transport or not in use. I stand corrected, it's a Garmin unit a Hummingbird. My Hummingbird unit is for the boat. It's powered using a 12v 5ah battery. Works really well.
