    Default Reel seat will not tighten ?? ... how to fix ...


    Over time the threads in a reel seat tightening mechanism may become worn and not allow the reel to be held securely because of slippage of the tightening mechanism ...

    Creative clamping can be used to force the tightening mechanism to a spot where a good glue can be applied to hold the tightening mechanism securely ... (Goop Marine is tough but can be removed later if needed to change reels) ...
