I’ve been using Zeiss lens cleaner from Walmart. It’s usually found in the eyeglass section. It’s always worked good for me and it’s about $3.00 for an 8 ounce pump spray bottle.

After being a car and boat detailer for 8 years, I have learned that you cannot use a microfiber cloth or terry cloth towel that has been washed in the washing machine with detergent and dried in the dryer with any type of fabric softener or bounce. The fabric softener and detergent will leave a permanent film on the cloths that can never be removed. It will also leave streaks and film on your glass every time no matter what solvent or cleaner you use on the glass. I recommend a glass cleaner called Invisible Glass, and a brand new unused microfiber cloth. To clean microfiber for glass, I always washed them in extremely hot water with no detergents and air dried. If the microfiber was very dirty, I put one drop of dawn and about 2 gallons of water, wash, rinse in hot and then air dry. I hope this helps.

I think that's exactly what's going on. I cleaned them last night with just a little Dawn and lightly rubbing wet paper towels. They look a lot better now.
