    Default ACC Crappie Stix

I bought 4 14 footers from them and really like them for spider rigging. Thinking of buying 3 more 14's and 2 16footers. Problem is I have not caught any big fish on them. Just 9 to 10" fish. Using 3/4 oz egg sinker. Want to go to an ounce egg weight. Can these rods handle bigger fish? I love the weight of them as opposed to the Southern Crappie rods. Just a lot lighter and easier to handle for this old man with a 1000 series spinning reel.

My 16’ and 14’ have handled crappie over 2 pounds, catfish up to 10 pounds and this monster on a 12 footer. We have swung several big crappie but with clients, net is the word. Name: IMG_9680.jpg
