I've bought 1/8 and 1/4 before I had molds for them. Now the only thing I fish and don't have a mold for is a 1/64. It's a rarity for me, but if I order 150 from him, that's $35 with shipping, and unfortunately, any mold for them is $140+. The math just didn't work out for me buying a mold for that one....yet. Maybe over my lifetime but not within 5 years or so.
Well.. darn. I wish I had seen this before I ordered. I got the 1/64 and 1/48 collar-less jig heads from him today with the #8 hooks. Hoping I don't regret it, because that's 100 jigheads on the way. Oh well... If so, I know where to order more with different size hooks!
    All the best,

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions everyone! I ordered 100 jig heads today (50 of each size) with bronze Mustad hooks, collar-less ball heads (I'm planning to do that thread trick - I knew about that, and had forgot it, so that was an excellent reminder!), and #8 hooks. I'm hoping I don't regret my hook size choice, but it looks like a #8 is 5/8" from the eye to the back of the round bend. With a 1" Berkley Gulp Alive Minnow, I think that should work well. If not, I'll reorder with a slightly larger hook.

    All the best,
    Glenn

I hop it works out for you. Good luck and keep us posted. Where abouts around Williamsburg you wetting a line? My ex-in-laws lived on Skimino Rd behind Camp Perry and him and I used to go fish Waller Mill a bit.

That's almost exactly where I live. Skimino is behind my house a very short distance away. I used to pass Camp Peary every morning to take my son to school. I haven't fished Waller Mill yet, although I've been to the park for events. I may end up going there this weekend to check it out. I fish the James River and Chickahominy River / Lake a lot in my bass boat, and I fish the electric-only lakes (mostly Little Creek Reservoir and Diascund Reservoir) in my little pond prowler.
    All the best,
