Awesome. Thank you. I found him, and sent him a message, because the ones he has listed with Mustad hooks has a note about his size 8 hooks being some other brand of Sickle hook, which I don't really care for either. I'm thinking a size 8 should work very well on both the 1/64 and 1/48 oz jigs for the little 1" Berkley Gulp Alive minnows, but not sure if I want them with or without collars. The larger ones I have right now have a larger collar and they bulge out the front part of the minnow pretty bad. But also not sure if a collar-less jig head would keep them on properly. Looking forward to hearing back from him. Thanks!
    All the best,

Thank you. I see 3 people that go by that name when I search by user name - bugman, Bugman10145, and bugman1975. The first one doesn’t seem to have posted recently. Do you know which one it is?

For 1" gulp minnows go with the collarless jig heads. Those with collars will ruin the baits pretty quickly.

A Video Richard Gene the Fishing Machine has shows how he cuts the barbs off and then wraps a bit of floss around the shank a little bit to hold his baits up behind the head. No where near as bulky as the hook keepers molded on...Might be just what ya need for the ones you have.

Glad you got it worked out. I'm about to order some 1/64 ball head from him with a #6 hook. I'm not a fan of a #8, especially with a plastic. I regularly use 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, and 1/4. I've bought 1/8 and 1/4 before I had molds for them. Now the only thing I fish and don't have a mold for is a 1/64. It's a rarity for me, but if I order 150 from him, that's $35 with shipping, and unfortunately, any mold for them is $140+. The math just didn't work out for me buying a mold for that one....yet. Maybe over my lifetime but not within 5 years or so.

No pitch forks please. I have ordered from simply crappie he sells a decent Jighead for a fair price. But it is not what the OP is wanting.
