    Default Help moving seat

I need to move my seat forward about 4-5 inches in my new boat, just ordered a new millennium seat hoping things would change a little but it’s got a pedestal seat and the seat is bolted to the pin the sticks into pedestal, I want it look good not no pieced together job, any suggestion would be appreciated.

I needed to move my center seat on the bow back. I looked at the offset post but wound up using a Swivel-Eze offset seat base like the one in the link.

so I bought this seat peristalsis today, mine in my boat bolts down. So how am I gonna keep this pedestal with the offset to always stay forward?

While seated it should stay forward.

I have fished out of one of these before and I remember it moving around a lot. I would like to have it stay forward all the time, so my short legs can reach the foot control.

I use the swivel seat base offset instead of the offset post because it lets me keep my livewell lid open (the one under my bow seat) because the spacing on a 1985 Skeeter wasn’t intended for big screens, rod holders, and the way that we fish for crappie now.
