For a very long time now I have only used one plastic. A Bison colored Trout Magnet. I usually get about 2000 crappie a year with it. Not going to get into discussion about does color matter as that has been beat to death. One person it does matter for is the manufacturer. If a manufacturer only made one color they would go broke.

I'm a long liner and pull 14 lines at once. There's alot of different colors I like and the fish do too but if I could only take one color fishing it would be this one...

Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
The color combo that Gabowman posted above is a go-to color for me as well.

By far, the spike tail grub. Color not important though if forced to chose, it would be black body/pearl tail. The design never fails and can be worked real slow but still allows the thin tail to quiver. A light jig head is essential!

There is a mold that copies a popular stick tail lure:

Correct: 2m cavity mold to 20 cavity mold. The problem is what to do with all the many lures made regardless of lure type!
