Yes, I fish better, but anymore I have a co angler 85% of the time rather its my wife or fishing buddy, oh yeah do dogs count? my boy Bean is almost always with me
Well this is why I don’t like to fish with people.
Today fished with this guy who offered no help, no gas money, always complaining, and really didn’t put me on fish. He was kind of a jerk.
By the way I fished alone!!!
And he posts pics sideways!!!

I tend to fish harder /better when alone but miss my dad and two sons . Dad passed in 1995 and one son lives in Scotland the other cares nothing about fishing. . Growing up fishing was a family deal , no more .

I fish alone 98% of the time. I prefer to fish in the winter, not a lot of people don't want to be on the lake when it's cold. I prefer it because the terrorists (tourists) and jet ski riders are home.
I enjoy fishing with grandson, 13, and now that he is getting older it is even more fun. He drives the boat etc etc, I just fish and untangle his stuff when needed. I also have a best friend that I fish with a lot but will admitt that I catch lots more and enjoy being by myself also. Come and go , move when I want, fish whatever body of water I choose. Just trying to enjoy life.
used to be the way I fished 95 percent of the time, could take my time and fish like I like to. Anymore prefer to go with someone, must be getting old.

Majority of the time I fish, camp alone. i even fish tournaments alone 90% of the time. I don't mind fishing with others and will if they ask. I typically don't ask others to join me. Most are out there to catch fish, or learn. I'm out there to enjoy the ride. If I catch fish, that's a bonus. If not, so be it.
When I fish with buddies it's about spending time with them.
I had a buddy asked to join me this year for the tournament trail and we partnered up.
My wife and brother-in-law will go when the weather is perfect. I spend most my time guiding for them.
When the grandkids go, I spend most of my time guiding for them, very little time actually fishing.
When my sons go, I spend most of my time communicating with them. Catching up on things in their lives. Give them a sanity check, and a reality check on the next stages in life. Make sure they are doing well and their managing their lives well. I put them on fish so we have stories to tell the wife's and kids.
For me, it's not about fishing, it's about the ride. Fishing is a venue to communicate and bond.
When I fish alone, I communicate with God. He provides the best advice....
Some days he puts me on fish...
